How do clients view prints under a black light? |

Many parties have black lights where any signs, table cards, place cards, seating charts and other materials printed with the OKI NEON will glow! We are also introducing a new way to include an affordable black light LED inside the envelope for the recipient to use to see an invitation glow. You can even send a “secret” invitation with white text on a white card that glows under the black light. You can purchase LED black lights on our website for as little as only $1/each! |

Does this printer print NEON colors onto dark or black card stocks? |

Yes, in two passes through the printer using Mountaincow PrintingPress Pro Extreme 9.0 or higher with the new auto-trapping feature. With this feature you can print a dark or black card once through the printer and your card will print a white silhouette base layer. Then you can feed the card through a second time and it will overprint the NEON color layer, mostly or completely covering the white base layer. When printed onto dark or black stock, the overprinted color will not be noticeable and only the color printed on top of the white base layer will be visible. |

Does this printer also print in pure black? |

Yes! When you order an OKI NEON printer from Mountaincow it includes a pure black toner cartridge that can be swapped with the white cartridge for times when you need black instead of white. |

No, this is a specialty printer with unique NEON color toners that print in a different color gamut than normal CMYK and cannot be used for standard color printing. We have other affordable printers to recommend for standard color printing. |

What types of paper do you recommend for use with the white toner? |
| A: |
In general you can use any paper that indicates it is laser printer compatible and does not exceed 300gsm in weight. If you are unsure if a stock is laser compatible, please check with the paper vendor or mill. The best laser stocks have a flat and smooth “vellum” finish, or are metallic stocks. Stocks with a cotton, soft or textured finish (other than linen) often do not provide the smooth even surface that is optimal for laser and are better suited to ink printing. If a paper is particularly textured you should mail yourself a test to make sure the toner does not rub off, and you should typically print card stock and envelopes with the Ultra Heavy 3 setting for maximum fusing. |
